The Puerto Rico Port Authority operates the ferry boat
service that connects the main island with the the tiny islands of
Culebra and Vieques. They have one boat that will also transport
your car. Check the itinerary for the boat you want to board. The
ride is approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes for the passengers only boat
and about 2 hours and 15 minutes for the car ferry, please keep in
mind weather conditions.

To transport your car you will need to make a reservation, all the
cars must be at the loading dock on time or you will loose your
spot....rental cars may or may not be taken out of the main island,
ask your car rental company. The passenger only boat boards on
schedule and no reservation is required, first come first served.

Fajardo to Vieques round trip = $4 per passenger
Fajardo to Culebra round trip = $4 per passenger
Children ages 3 to 11 = $1
Senior Citizens 60 to 74 = $1
Senior Citizens over 75 get to ride for FREE
Note: There is an extra fee for beach equipment going to Culebra,
i.e., tent $2, sleeping bag $1
Car and Cargo Ferry to both islands
Compact cars = $15
Large cars = $19
Visa and Master Cards accepted

Note: You are subject to be searched as per federal and local laws
while using or traveling in Puerto Rico Port Authority facilities
*going to Vieques and Culebra on weekends might be near impossible,
please arrive very early to get your tickets.
